A number of families from the Connor diocese are working in countries around the world.

Mark and Ali Gill are CMS Ireland Mission Associates based in Dadeldhura, Nepal.

Mark and Ali Gill pictured during a recent break in Northern Ireland. Having previously served with the United Mission to Nepal for 14 years, the Gills moew recently worked with Human Development and Community Services (HDCS), a growing Nepali Christian organisation with representation from many national and international partners. After a period at home in Northern Ireland, Mark and Ali returned to Nepal, working with Himal Hydro. Mark is the Project Manager of the Mai Hydro Power Plant in the East of Nepal.

Dr Jenny Bell, Yei, Southern Sudan

Dr Jenny Bell is on a Short Term Mission Placement (STEP) with CMS Ireland, based in Yei, Southern Sudan. Connor Diocese has established a link with Yei. Dr Bell will be in Yei for one year and is primarily looking after Martha and Lainya Clinics, using her training and skills as a doctor. You can follow her blog from Yei at www.cmsireland.org.

Linked parishes

Several parishes in the Diocese of Connor have already formed links with parishes in the dioceses of Edinburgh and Linkoping, Sweden, and it is hoped further links will be established with Yei in Southern Sudan.
