Asbestos Control Regulations
Under the Provisions of the Control of Asbestos at Work Regulations (NI) 2003 there is an explicit duty placed on those in control of non-domestic premises during normal occupation. Therefore the Church of Ireland is required to carry out a series of procedures in relation to all churches and parochial buildings
The Disability Discrimination Act 1995
Under the Disability Discrimination Act 1995 (DDA), the Church of Ireland is required to provide, as far as is reasonable, accessibility to the built environment to enable people with disabilities to participate in the full life of the church.
